The Division Guide: How to share items in Tom Clancy’s The Division?

“Trading” is a process of equipment and weapons exchange with other players. It is not officially supported by The Division, although the developers have announced that it will be added later. If you want to “sell” before the full opportunity to appear, you can try the method below.

“Exchange” can be made only with people you absolutely trust, and only on certain conditions. This guide will explain how to do it.

This system is not supported by the game, and it is based on trust. Here’s how:

You must create a group. It is desirable with people you trust. If you lose the object, so you will be no one to blame but yourself.

When you pick up the item, you have a short time to “exchange”. The exact time is not known, and the subject will be “bound” to you within a short period of time.

Throw it on the ground as any other player in the group will be able to pick it up. There are a couple of rules:

  1. One player who should get the item must be part of the group.
  2. You have to take place in the group before the item will be “thrown” to the earth.

This is not an advanced trading system, but it’s better than nothing.
